In November, Hitomi Sekine entered the Japan Broadcasting Acting Institute, treating her weekly classes as opportunities to showcase her daily practice. After the basic subjects instructor suggested she try playing a girl, she gradually shifted from focusing on vocal quality to thinking about how to convey what she wanted to convey to the audience.
