The Book Review Group and the Beginning of Game Development
In his 2024 review, Ryoichi Watanabe explained that Handuan Mania originally started as a book review group during university, with members compiling doujinshi by theme. After graduating from university, inspired by 'Tsukihime,' he realized he could also create bishoujo games himself. After obtaining NScripter, he began working on 'Winter is a Phantom Mirror.'
