Check details from colleagues' revisions
In a 2018 interview, Kaomin recalled that the manuscript he thought was already completed still showed significant improvement after revisions by senior colleagues. As a result, he pays more attention to customer needs and details that may be capable but not addressed.
Using scene details to depict the passage of time
This demonstration painting centers on the theme of passing time: the girl looks back and continues forward, while distant taillights, winter mist, and snow all combine to present a fleeting feeling. He also recreates 1960s architecture, giving everyday scenes a sense of history and possible disappearance.
Illustration study and entry
Caomin joined the comic club while studying geography at university, creating illustrations and comics for the club's publication. This was also his first time showcasing his work to others. By his senior year, he decided to pursue illustration as a profession, and only began studying digital painting after entering a professional school.
In a February 2018 interview, Kaomin recalled that she had practiced painting every day for two years at a vocational school, and once she started, she had to complete the work. By the following year, he was introduced by a lecturer and got a job; After publishing a graduation artwork themed around ruins on Pixiv, it further brought in commercial commissions.
