The production credits for 'White Coat Love Syndrome' list Miyazai as director.
Transitioning from nursing to student life
Miyaza said the previous work already fully portrayed the nursing workplace, with Baiyi Ai rewriting student life and reducing the focus on medical themes; Describing classroom learning is used to present growth.
Internship gown and major confirmation
Miyaza interviews a collaborator who went from nursing student to nurse, referencing actual internship clothes; If you encounter unclear pronunciations or other issues, consult someone with nursing or medical experience.
The choice of lead singer for the theme song of "White Love."
Miyaza, originally the lead vocalist for "White Love," considered a transparent and gentle vibe and proposed the ARTERY VEIN duo to Hamada; After learning that the group's music was more robust, Asami Imai took over the solo vocals.
During the original work stage, he explored with his agent the possibility of Kitamura performing the next work, and finalized the invitation for the new OP "you never know" on RE:Therapy.
During casting in the original work, he considered Ahito Mizuno's singing experience and Ami Asada's music school and instrumental settings, inviting her to sing the ending theme; Following the direction of their two new theme songs, "RE:Therapy" invited her to sing "COCOON" again.
The script, key animation, and platform selection for "White Love."
In an interview published in June 2012, Miyaza recalled that he and Madoka had discussed the next medical-themed game during the development and release of Solfège. Madoka's nursing novels contain sad yet realistic observations; he wants the game to be brighter, so the two of them jointly select the softer parts. Considering the large volume of text and the difficulty for Madoka to handle alone, he invited Sakura Sakura, who had medical knowledge and knew Madoka personally, to serve as assistant screenwriter.
When searching for an artist for "White Clothes Love Syndrome," he requested a soft yuri style and a sharp hospital image. The concept image Chisato Naruse sent first matched his imagination, but Naruse still worried whether the art style would suit the target audience; During the script development, he continued to invite him, and after about three meetings, the collaboration was confirmed around April 2010. He also requested to add an apron and tie up his long hair, and finally discussed with Naruse the original ponytail concept of his own side ponytail, settling on the protagonist's side ponytail.
The original script was completed around summer or fall 2010, and Cyberfront proposed a PSP release. Miyaza recalled that the project had previously announced plans for PC release in fall 2010. After accepting the PSP solution, it was redeveloped and ported the original PC program to PSP.
Planning and voice selection for "RE:Therapy."
Before and after the original release, Miyaza and En first organized and expanded their ideas, preparing to submit plans as soon as the next project was approved. Before the end of the year the original game was released, he submitted additional content and PC production schedules to the producer, and later, following Cyberfront's suggestion, decided to make a PSP version as well. The original early Mayuki character project was postponed due to scale, script balance, and deadlines; The endings of the two supporting female leads that Yuan wanted to write were postponed until after "RE:Therapy" was confirmed and expanded.
When selecting Mayuki's actress for "RE:Therapy," Miyaza heard Ayane Sakura's voice sample and felt it suited the character, so she was invited to appear. He recalled that before the official recording, Sakura carefully read the script, and the voice he prepared matched the producers' vision of the character.
Original Selected Voices and Dialects Included
Miyaza heard Eri Kitamura's older sister-like voice during the ending narration of an unnamed anime, and invited her to play Hatsumi Otsuka in 'White Love.' During recording, she was asked to raise her performance age. Yasuko Yamanouchi was chosen by Tomoyuki Hamada, who requested the Kansai dialect; Looking back, there were still differences in tone between Madoka and Hara, so the producers ultimately adopted Yumi Hara's tone.
Broadcast planning
Miyaza recalled that when netizens proposed a call to participate in the broadcast of "White Love," he responded that if 100 supporters gathered, he would consider the show. Once the number of hosts is reached, he proposes a plan to the producer and coordinates with HiBiKi to host the show, with two people at a time, up to four people rotating hosts.
