On-site recording and sound effects selection
The sound effect lab is operated by Killy and has been in continuous operation since 2013. To produce convincing sounds, he has traveled overseas to record real gun sounds and also traveled to Miyake Island and Amami Oshima to capture wild bird calls.
In his production statement, Killy used boxing sound effects as an example: repeatedly prototyping to form over a hundred files, with about three ultimately being released on the website.
