Zero lessons and a series of cases

With the rise of serious crimes in Tokyo in the near future, the Metropolitan Police Department established a negotiation preparation office, commonly known as the Zero Section, bringing in civilian professionals. Onizuka once went to New York to study negotiations, and after retiring, became a free negotiator; Records manager Hiromi Kanzaki and analyst Keisuke Nakamura work together with him on the case. Several firearms cases were linked to the same smuggled firearm.

Whatever you say, you have to choose when

Dialogue in negotiations continues to advance, with options having their timing and effective time. Players need to decide when to interrupt, when to listen, and whether to gain trust through concessions or bluffing. Silence also affects conversations; hesitating too long may cause missed responses.

Investigate how it affects negotiations

Nakamura analyzes people based on keywords, and after success, can provide useful or dangerous hints for negotiation options. Character relationship charts update with the storyline; The negotiation results also include graded evaluations, with some follow-up content linked to previous results.

Recording and negotiating atmosphere

The soundtrack features a sound framework for five instruments: bandone, violin, piano, guitar, and double bass. Bandone, violin, and guitar are recorded live, with the composer playing the piano and the double bass programmed and produced. Keisuke Ito believes that daily negotiations require calmness and pressure, while the climax piece "Judgment" uses a more distinctive melody.

Production of three tracks

"Le tango de levres" is inspired by Argentine tango, expanding from a one-minute concept to about five minutes. "Last Message" was never adopted, and the composer tried to keep it in the later stages of production; "Judgment" is used to climax negotiations. Tang Chuanqiang was responsible for the game sound effects.
