Yume and the astronomical museum staff

Yume, equipped with autonomous AI, was assigned to the Star Pavilion in a local city shopping center, where she diligently carried out reception work for a long time. One day, she began to violate work arrangements and repeatedly left her post. The employees need to understand why this usually dutiful partner suddenly changes behavior, and the story thus depicts a chapter of Yumemi's coexistence with humans.

The perspective of a prequel

Compared to the ruins encounter in the main story of "Dream of the Stars," this work returns to the period when the planetary museum is still functioning normally, supplementing Yumemi's past work environment and interpersonal connections. Reading follows a fixed order without passing through options to enter different heroine routes.

New edition of Language and Sound

The Steam version, launching on April 30, 2025, will offer text in Japanese, English, French, Chinese Simplified, and Traditional Chinese, with Japanese voice acting. The electronic manual and settings interface also support these languages and can be switched during gameplay; The music includes both the original stereo version and the binaural listening version using Dolby Atmos technology.

Production staff

The script is by Yuichi Suzumoto, the original artwork by Eiji Komatsu, and the music credits include Shinji Orito, Donmaru, Ryo Mizuki, and Magome Togoshi. The theme song "Snow Globe" is performed by Riko Yazukina, with lyrics by Taya Okano, music by Shinji Orito, and arrangement by Shinpei Nasuno.

The planetarium, still in operation

The mass-produced companion robot Yumemi is assigned to the rooftop planetarium of a local department store, where she and human employees greet visitors and provide commentary projections. One day, she begins to ignore work orders and repeatedly leave her post. Why does a colleague who was once serious start to change? This becomes the beginning of the story.

Satomi Kurahashi and Yumemi

Satomi is the director of the planetarium's interpretation and also Yumemi's instructor. She is very responsible, tends to take all the problems upon herself, and is very attentive to other employees. She faced not only equipment malfunctions but also how to understand the robots she worked with.

Prequel and reading methods

The story takes place about thirty years before the main story, when the city was still peaceful. No options to create route or ending branches; sound, text, and performance follow a fixed story; The Switch publisher gave the snow ball a reading time of about one hour.

Sound and production

Yume Yume, voiced by Keiko Suzuki and Rina Satomi, Satou. Script by Yuichi Suzumoto, original artwork and mechanical design by Eiji Komatsu; Music credits: Shinji Orito, Donmaru, Ryo Suigetsu, and Magome Togoshi. The Snow Globe theme song is performed by Riko Yazukina, with lyrics by Taya Okano, composed by Orito, and arranged by Shinpei Nasuno.
