The rhythm of the anniversary song is performed by multiple singers
When producing the 2024 anniversary song "Fate Story" for Atthom Cafe, Akihiko Yamaguchi received a commission to express himself freely and to bring a new side. While retaining his existing image, he experimented with a sense of rhythm that was never seen before.
He drew inspiration from previous MV camera cuts to design the sound parts for the new song and matched the melody. When recording with multiple singers, he first considers overall balance, then guides each singer to retain their own singing style.
Piano learning and composition beginnings
Akihiko Yamaguchi began learning piano at the age of eighteen, started composing at eighteen, and officially began his professional composer career in 2007. The agency introduces his creative direction as a pop, highly melodic style.
