Stop at Moon Palace
The restaurant offers freely available drinks, and each guest has their own conversation. Exploration begins with observing scenes, selecting objects, and asking topics, gradually introducing these everyday lives that differ from ordinary restaurants. The story uses interactions and casual conversation as its driving process, with the abnormalities of the setting gradually revealing during the reading process.
Two endings
The game combines tap-based exploration with optional dialogue, offering two endings. The publisher estimates the full experience to be about two to two and a half hours, noting that decisive differences are more noticeable during gameplay. Choosing previous communication allows players to understand future changes with a fresh understanding of the guests and the restaurant.
Added content in the Steam version
This version migrated from the original Godot to Unity, developed with Studio Dragonet and published by Waku Waku Games, adding controller controls, new chats, and achievements. After completing specific endings, you can enjoy the audio and illustrations, which also include character descriptions written by the author. The original soundtrack is provided separately and does not automatically include additional chapters in the main game.
Original and commercial ports
The original free browser in 2022 used Godot. The 2023 commercial edition was co-developed by Studio Dragonet and switched to Unity, adding new chats, controller support, achievements, and post-completion voice and illustration appreciation. The original and commercial versions therefore offer different scale of experience.
Seven pieces of restaurant music
Original voice composed by Mizu Oishi, signed by Monthly Wetland, includes "The Moon That Illuminates the Past," "Moonlight," "Fly Me to the Restaurant," "Round-the-Clock," "Secret Meeting in a Sleep," "Around the Table," and "Sitting on the Moon Alone/Two," with a total of seven tracks in the catalog.
Subsequent arrangements of piano music
For the subsequent piano BGM, Oishi Mizu purchased the Ravenscroft 275, marking his first time composing music using piano sound sources. He continued the method of first playing on the piano and then arranging the notes accordingly.
He once considered staying as close as possible to the original piece, but later realized that most players switching to piano music had already played the game, so he chose to change the melody noticeably. The music in the box scene retains the melody while adding development; The overall arrangement is designed for one person to play with both hands, and he considers it the version to listen to during the second playthrough.
During production, the resonance of the piano's bass notes caught his attention. He used Vinyl to process the sound and believed that a lighter, thinner tone suited the game's visuals.
