Promises to cover memories

The story takes place at Cangbo No.1 High School, where you can see the sea. Kaoru failed to confess to her junior high teacher, Shinrei Shimotsuki, and her disheveled state was seen by her classmate Shiori. After hearing her story, Shiori made a request: hoping Kaoru would accompany her back to the place related to her brother, using new experiences to change those memories.

The distance between four people

Shiori always aimed to be an outstanding older brother, but when filling out her college preferences, she realized she had to decide her own future. Kaoru also hopes to break free from her attachment to her teacher, so the two begin walking together. Shiori's old friend Riku Inohara has feelings for her that go beyond friendship, and Rei Shin, who has already left and works at an art school, still influences Kaoru's choices.

Sound and image

Kaoru Tachibana, Shiori Onagi, Riku Inohara, and Mirei Shimotsuki are played by Makoto Koichi, Manaka Iwami, Konomi Fujimura, and Eriko Matsui, respectively. The character animation was created using Spine, with Koji Shio responsible for character design and illustration, Akeo as screenwriter, and Ubi as the music; The theme song "Sun Shade" is performed by Nishio Yui.

Memories of the past and new

After the incident where Kaoru left home in her third year of junior high, she fell in love with the art teacher Shen Ling. Shen Ling resigned from her teaching position at her former private school and later taught at an acquaintance's art school. Shiori realized during volunteer research that she had been imitating her brother all along; She and Kaoru visit old places together, hoping to change their memories through new experiences. Riku is Shiori's old friend from junior high, working hard in the swimming club and academics, but has not confessed his feelings to her for years.
