The dramatic structure of a six-minute song
Orito first wrote the music, then after reading the script, he focused on the afterglow of the climax and the ending, considering whether the chorus should lean toward a sad minor or a bright major. He said that the piece must have a clear beginning, development, transition, and conclusion, so that the length naturally forms around six minutes.
Novel theme and vocal recording
Okano used the short story 'Chirusis to Amant' from the original novel collection 'Star' as the theme for the lyrics, and Ryomoto himself was unable to write the lyrics due to scheduling. Orito recalled that Lia understood the lyrics and story and voluntarily requested to sing it repeatedly.
Selected voices for the 2016 theater theme song
When discussing theater, streaming, and vocal selection, Tsuda and others proposed Lia. Orito judged that her voice was suitable for the end credits of the theater and subsequently extended an invitation.
