Special rules are passed between patients; the journey away from the ward and the experiences of those who leave are important clues in the series. "Zero" moves the timeline back to earlier times, tracing the formation of this place.
Content and inclusion
The hospice ward in the Catholic hospital, called the 7th floor, has rules that are passed down only among residents. Himeko once worked as a helper here, Chihiro volunteered to help, and later Himeko became a patient.
2010 PSP Final Chapter: Diary and Rules
Hiroshi and Yoko use patient opinions from their diaries to improve life in the new ward and establish rules; Returning here in his later years, Hiroshi saw the rulebooks that later generations continued to write.
