The composition and brushstrokes of looking back in printmaking
When drawing a retrospective girl for the 2017 film "Chrono -GRAVITY-," Karory retained the character's glass-like slenderness, attempting to express the theme of time's constant flow, as well as beauty and transience. Karory said that printmaking often brings changes to her brushwork, so this time she specifically aimed for strokes close to everyday painting.
Background design of PUREST ANGEL
When creating the original illustration "PUREST ANGEL," karory focused on the theme of angels resting, using a white colonnade-like temple background to create a world distinct from modern times. When the production notes were released in September 2012, the background was still being adjusted.
