Shimamon and vocal arrangements
Yuichiro Tsukakoshi cites Shimamon as an example to illustrate the use of 'No Need to Look Back, That Guy Exists' in the original game. The song was later changed to a vocal track for "Splash Shooter," sung by Runa Mizutani, with lyrics by Meiko Yamamoto, and composed and arranged by Nasuno and KaN.
Scene Usage and Adapted Singing Techniques
Shinji Orito recalled in 2019 that the original piece was used for scenes where the poem appears; After switching to the vocal track "Splash Shooter," rap-like sections were added.
