A reunion without shared memories

After waking up, Shuichi goes to school as usual, but familiar people return to their daily routines in ways that shouldn't exist. For him, the real encounters, deaths, and farewells never became memories for the girls. The new work unfolds events based on this cognitive difference, positioning it as a sequel to the previous installment.

Returning to the characters

The announced characters include Sakura Kutsuna, Kotoha Tsukinoki, Mari Takanashi, Ichiru Hyakumeki, Shizuku Tsukumo, Nene Shikima, and Murasaki Sairenji. The characters retain their roles from the previous film, but their interactions in the sequel have changed; The current public profile has not yet revealed the complete paths and final outcomes for each person.

Planned peer system

The production plan proposed a companion system: characters closely related to the protagonist participate in follow-up actions, making investigations and conversations reflect the differences among companions. This is still a design note in the development stage; the final form and applicable scenarios are pending confirmation of the finished product or subsequent system announcements.

Production and music programs

Planning and script by Tomu Kitasaki, previously credited under the name Major Tomu; The original artwork is by Miko, with 57 contributions to character design and SD illustrations. The crowdfunding expansion goal includes turning the short story "Cause of Death." Adapted into a game event, added songs, and produced a complete opening music video. Achieving the fundraising goal means additional content has been added to the plan, not that it has already been completed.

Differences from Refine

The same project also prepared a Refine version of the previous game, involving adjustments to graphics, systems, and content; It and this sequel are two separate products. The cast list notes that the Refine version's Miko Mikou and Sayumi Suzushiro are voiced, so this cannot be directly regarded as a new character announcement for this sequel.

Development progress

Crowdfunding will begin in November 2025 and end in January 2026, after which it will enter the production phase. Supporters receiving reports or old game keys for "Dreamin' Her" does not mean "Yukei no Mirror Ball" has been released. As of September 2026, this clause still records works under development.
