From novels to games

In April, Kohei Akana was invited by his classmate Iori Kominato to create a doujin game together. Iori had read his novels and even drew illustrations of the characters in them; Kangping then agreed to take charge of the script. However, Ruriko Segawa set a goal to earn 1.35 million yen through doujin games, which immediately turned what seemed like a passionate collaboration into a real problem.

Division of labor within the association

Iori is full of energy, Ruriko handles publicity and accounting, and the older Kanade Narimiya handles the music. Kōhei once joined the volleyball club, trying to organize people with different personalities into a team. Members have different understandings of the works and sales goals, so opinions on writing, drawing, and music creation also need to be coordinated.

Preparation process

Chapter One centers on preparations for August COMITIA, weaving market research, planning, production, production, and exhibition participation into the story. Characters discuss how to complete the work and address issues encountered during production. Real events such as COMITIA and Comic Market also appear in the work.

The Four Chapters were promulgated

The first prototype debuted at C78, followed by C79 with 'Game Creation Arc of 0', 'Dream Creator Arc' for C80, and 'Transmission Scripter Arc' for C81. C82 offers a demo of the final chapter "Red Oath Arc," while C83 releases the complete chapter "Let's make the doujin game."

Creators and music

Planning and script were handled by you, with original artwork by Taifu. The official game website also lists guest illustrators such as Nakiri, Kiyoichi, and Ninose. BGM credits include: Soichi Hanshin, Botamochi, Shishiou, Yumeno, Shinichi Egami, Freezer; The ending song was composed by Souichi Hanshin and performed by Saku.

Demo and later public events

The demo range varied by period: in 2012, media coverage corresponded to the first chapter of about one hour, while later official announcements mentioned a demo version lasting about four hours. In 2023, there were reports of revival and limited-time free public releases.
