Three stages of girlish perspective

In the first part, Saijo Shino loves to read and has good grades, but is rather introverted; In the second part, Wakana Katase is cheerful and stubborn, often finding it hard to express her feelings openly; In the third part, Keiko Sakaki serves as the track and field club manager and class representative, speaking more maturely. Each character confronts emotions hidden in their hearts, unnoticed feelings, and memories of the past.

The intersection of time

The first two parts overlap in time, and the same period of campus life is observed by different characters. The third article returns to an earlier time, adding another experience. The game does not have branches for players to choose their romantic partners; instead, they read the stories in a fixed order; Changes in the characters' perspectives serve to expand information.

Line art and sound

The painting heavily uses brown tones or monochrome line art, with some backgrounds using continuous transitions to express dynamics like rain. The text uses a handwritten font, accompanied by piano-based music and character voices. The ending theme "First Step - Riding the Spring Breeze -" is performed by REM. Play-to-play data from the same period records the game as being released on August 15, 2004.

Three types of romance and images

Black Box's third Light-Visual Novel uses three short stories to portray romances in student life: hidden affection, feelings unknown to the parties, and memories that have long since faded. The works use sepia tones and full voice, focusing on short everyday stories as the reading unit.

Production and revision

Ame Onkyo and Yuki Usagi are responsible for the original artwork, the screenplay by E.C. Fumito Warabayashi for the Megane Friends Association, and the music for Manack. 1.1 Patch adjusts BGM playback on some devices, adds music disabling options, and fixes issues related to CG mode switching, fonts, and menus.

Theme song and demo video

The theme song "First Step - Riding the Spring Breeze -" was written by Megane no Tomo-no-Kai/E.C, composed and arranged by Manack, and performed by REM. The promotional demo was produced by Mashiro Ayazuka and runs for 33 seconds.
