Closed exhibitions
The Ashiya family of Yushibana, a township, possessed considerable wealth and arranged an exhibition at Ashiya Tower after discovering rare gemstones. During the exhibition, smoke spreads and the security curtain falls, causing eight people to lose their way out. There are still twelve hours left until the lockdown is lifted, but the situation they are facing is gradually exceeding what ordinary accidents can explain.
Reasoning and retrieval
The game has a built-in note-taking feature, allowing you to record character statements and doubts at any time; Text search can find content that has already been read. These tools allow players to go back to old conversations to verify clues instead of relying solely on memory to track complex events. The official estimate is over forty hours of reading and includes more than sixty soundtracks.
Development materials
The trinitite team, formed by three people, mainly focuses on narrative-driven visual novels. This game uses Ren'Py and is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The team also released a development dataset, which includes sketches, concept prototypes, and early art, and explained that the project began production in early 2016.
Read the display options
In addition to notes and full-text search, the game also provides font, dialogue layout, speaker identification, and text color settings, with the option to mute when the window loses focus.
2021 Development Log: Short Ending Returns to the Fork Point
The 2021 development log explains that the main storyline basically unfolds in linear order, with optional bad endings or short side endings at the selection points. After reading these short endings, the game sends readers back to their original choice.
2021 Development Log: Location display after obtaining the map
The menu map will only open after the character finds the map in the story, and the protagonist's location will be displayed with markers. Readers can also open the mini-map in the lower right corner, tracking movements centered around the protagonist. The default time display is 24-hour format, but it can also be changed to a 12-hour format.
2021 Development Log: Reading Boxes and Fonts
The text box offers four edge styles, with the same color, which can represent full-screen faded borders, blurred border edges, clear border edges, or fading sides respectively. Readers can adjust the width of the text box, use a slider from 0% to 100% to change opacity, and also change the font weight; Text outlines come in three types: light shading, fine borders, and thick borders.
2021 Development Log: Speech markers and dialogue colors
The speaker marker can be turned off; when opened, a character is used, usually the first letter of the name; In case of conflict, special characters will be used instead. Mark colors are enabled by default, but for the entire line dialogue, you can choose to use the same color as the marker and are not enabled by default.
2021 Development Log: Short pauses and display speed
The development log records that short pauses of less than three seconds cannot be skipped by default, but readers can disable this restriction. Text speed can also be adjusted with a slider; When selecting Instantaneous Display, the text still fades in very lightly.
