In Chapter Three, memory resets are implemented to intervene in romantic relationships.
Effects and resistance
External forces try to make the protagonist forget about being with the supernatural heroine, so she can focus on developing her abilities. But the protagonist still recalls the encounter, and the resistance to memory prevents the quarantine from proceeding as planned.
