A new nightmare following the previous game
After the arch-enemy Joker was defeated, Sakura no Mori temporarily regained peace. But a blood-red new dream appears, where monsters devour humans and killers who should have disappeared; Those who die in dreams will also lose their lives in reality. Shinji Fukiue and the members of the Dream Cleaners then acted again, investigating, and stopping the new threat.
Another line of Yuan Xiang
The story also depicts a parallel timeline where Madoka Akitsu avoids the fate of death in the previous work and interacts with Shinji. Madoka is Shinji's childhood friend, and the two gradually become attracted to each other. The sequel alternates between presenting new events in this everyday life and the timeline of the previous film; The two lines initially operated independently but later became connected.
Dream Clearer's partner
Shinji can see evil spirits and ghosts, so he continues to investigate the strange events in Sakura Forest. Kirito Muyu can slay evil spirits and faces new anomalies alongside Shinji; Mahoro Kanmiya is responsible for gathering companions with diverse personalities. Mifuyu Kinsaka and Hatsune Fukiage also joined the cast. The work advances suspense and character relationships through a literary adventure.
