Experiments turned into captivity
On December 31, 2028, the sixth day of the Dcom experiment in the Nevada desert, nine people woke up already captive, with black wristbands on their wrists. The person claiming to be Zero announced the start of the game, and everyone was sent to the underground vault's zones C, Q, and D.
The cost of leaving
The X Door leading to the central elevator hall requires six codes, and each deceased person reveals a password. Participants must unlock the mechanisms in the rooms and decide whether to trade the lives of other teams for the exit. Rules put team survival and mutual trust directly in conflict.
Three groups of characters
Group C consists of firefighters Carlos, Akane, and Junpei; Junpei once joined the detective agency to search for his missing childhood friend Akane. The Q group includes the amnesiac boys Q, Eric, and Mira, all wearing spherical helmets, with Eric dating Mira. Group D consists of nurses Diana, Phi, and Sigma; Phi, Akane, and Sigma participate in experiments to change the future of the world.
Fragmented narratives
Players switch between different characters and events, gradually piecing fragments into complete progression and exploring different endings. The escape room section searches for objects and clues in three-dimensional space; The storyline uses fully voiced characters, no longer carrying all dialogue in traditional text windows.
Series position
This installment brings old characters from '9 Hours, 9 People, 9 Gates 9' and 'Good People Die' into the event together with new participants, continuing the unsolved mysteries of the previous two games. The characters' positions, ages, and memories in this work need to be understood in conjunction with their timelines.
