Kaede encounters Keiichi while injured and being chased by the organization, who intervenes in danger to help her. Her appearance also prompted Keiichi to revisit his lost past.
Maple route
The official guide lists Kaede as one side of the point branch, and the other side as Shindo. Different choices affect the subsequent direction in Chapter 5's dream; the final CG obtained by the Kaede route differs from the Shindou route.
