"Tano-Dan ~Chase the Ancient Ship!" ~》is an all-ages fantasy visual novel produced by Ocelot, based on the rebroadcast novel series of "Shad World 2.0." Shirley, a runaway married girl, teams up with new adventurers in the imperial capital, getting caught up in an incident left behind by an ancient civilization during a ruin investigation.

After running away from the wedding
On her wedding day, Shirley leaves her fiancé, arranged by her parents, and heads along the road leading to the imperial capital, Lukisula. She meets a dwarf girl named Chiroru, who wields a large axe, and decides to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming an adventurer. After arriving in the imperial capital, the two enter the 'Sweet Tamagoyaki Inn' and form a team with priest warrior Lexus and mage Popo Massual.
An encounter in the ruins
The team took up the task and began investigating the ruins. They encounter another team led by the red priest warrior Justin and rescue the elven youth Setty, who has been captured by the barbarians. Adventurers of different races, beliefs, and experiences journey together through this, and the original commission gradually becomes involved in a larger event.
Adventure team
Shirley wields twin rappiers and is familiar with reconnaissance and magic mechanics; Tirol searches for his lost old companion in the labyrinth. Lexus belongs to the Nightmare tribe, serving in the scene and taking on healing; Popo is a rabbit-like Tabit magician. Justin's companions include Letoa, who specializes in firearms and motorcycles, and Pony, who handles reconnaissance.
The world and the original
The story takes place in Laxia. Three hundred years ago, the 'Great Catastrophe' destroyed the Demon Motive Civilization, but technology and treasures remain in the ruins, allowing adventurers to travel between towns and the wilderness. This work is set in the world of Sword World 2.0, with a new story by original author Sanae Fujisawa; "Tanodan" is an abbreviation for "Tanoshii Dungeon."
Reading and performance
The game advances the story through text, character illustrations, music, and voice acting, supporting automatic text playback and character toggling voice commands. The official product specs feature full voice acting for the main characters, with actors including Hisako Kanemoto, Yoshitomo Tanaka, Tsuyoshi Inoue, and Natsuki Hamada. The work belongs to Kinetic Novel, and the original tabletop role-playing setup is reflected in the background and character occupations.
Production and theme song
