Kagurahara Girls' Academy
This is a school once known as a prestigious girls' school with a long history. Ling and the club members rehearse for the competition after summer vacation, while Zhengqu connects their campus life with interpersonal relationships. Yuka, from the Koto family of Yuan, suddenly switched to the school at the start of summer vacation, breaking the original rhythm.
The sister in my dreams
In her dream, Suzu saw an 'older sister' who resembled Yuka. The unusual timing of the transfer, the dreams, and the bizarre fall events that occur simultaneously echo each other, guiding the story into the school's hidden past. Similar appearances are only a clue at the beginning; the true connections between the characters remain uncertain.
Supplements beyond the story
The work was released on July 30, 2020. The official team later released "Yugaoe" and released short stories such as "A Year Later" for the first anniversary. These materials are supplements to the post-release story and should be viewed separately from the main game and the promotional phase of "Waiting."
Interpersonal relationships in the Zhengqu Department
Izayoi Rin and Aoyagi Shinya have known each other since childhood, and under her influence, Maya began learning the koto. Maibara Reihara was a track and field athlete who joined the koto music club after an injury and admired current club president, Marino Takezawa; Reiko Tasuma's grandmother serves as the school chairman. Teacher Tae Kanno is the club advisor.
Archiving and production
The game offers 24 manual save slots, with additional auto-save sections and selection points; The additional menu allows you to replay CG, music, and chapter recordings. The series was produced by Gen Suganuma, directed by Yoshinori Yamamoto, and character design by Kaomin. The PS4 and Switch versions were released on July 30, 2020.
Automatic saving, chapter appreciation, and scene logs
The PS4 manual puts auto-save in a dedicated save slot: at the beginning of each act and when options appear, you can select this record from "Continue." Extras are used to appreciate CG, music, and select chapters. They require specific conditions to be unlocked, which are not listed in the manual; The in-game "log" is used to reread the text of the ongoing scene.
PS4 Handbook Prologue: Boarding Life and Contracts
The prologue is set in the Taisho era, a boarding girls' school where even going out on holidays is prohibited. Students exchange the items they cherish most, forming a "suspected sisterhood" relationship that lasts until graduation.
PS4 Handbook Prologue: The Rewritten Cause of Death
After a pair of female students sought suicide together, the teacher returned the exchange item they were holding to its owner and declared the incident an accidental death. After the school declined and closed, nearby residents reported seeing female students searching for items and hearing crying and requests for their return.
