Monsters on stage

A nameless boy was born with horns growing from his right eye and was assigned to play the role of a monster in a circus for people to watch. During one performance, he makes eye contact with a girl in the audience, and the story begins with this encounter, connecting the boy's situation and the girl's situation with the circus.

Options and endings

The main content is an almost single-line picture book-style reading, with only one key option that affects the unfolding. The entire game offers three endings, one of which is a side ending. The author estimates that a typical reading session takes about 20 minutes, and careful reading and collecting the entire ending takes about 30 minutes.

Remake relationships

Naizawa Munin remade and expanded the 2016 release 'Circus to Kimi to Kaibutsu' into a Restage version, so new readers don't need to read the old works first. The work contains cruel and bizarre descriptions; fairy tale scenes do not mean lighthearted storytelling.

Reading and follow-up

The release page offers browser and Windows versions, with links to the subsequent novel "Circus Comedy Hameln." The game's ending and the novel serve different reading modes, with the subsequent story continuing from the novel entry provided by the author.

Restage's TRUE Expansion: The Object of Anger

TRUE unfolds, and Hana's words prompt Haru to take action. His anger was directed at both circus members and onlookers.
