2019 "DaSH": Listening back to his old recordings
The sequel's plot lasted only half a year, but the real-life recording was about six years apart. To bring Subaru back, he listens to his own voice from back then before each recording before getting into character.
Loki reconstructed in the animation
In the game, Yoshisa Hosoya uses free-form speech to imagine Loki's movements and facial expressions. After moving into the anime "Kamigami no Akugi," he discussed his acting plan, worldview, and setting with the sound director, reconstructing the character to respond to the actual actions shown in the anime.
The animation adjusts acting around the partners
Yoshimasa Hosoya commented on the 2024 TV anime "ATRI," saying that Kensho Ono's voice acting for Natsuo is a significant change compared to the original work. To avoid hindering Natsuki's composure, he deliberately played Ryuji as more inexperienced and immature, making it easier for his co-stars to show their state.
