A robot found in the junkyard
The story takes place in the near future, where robots have become a common part of society, yet many still regard them as emotionless metal shells. The protagonist is a boy who is resistant to robots; He discovers a girlish android Lucy, different from other robots, at the junkyard. She can laugh, cry, show joy, and have her own dreams. The boy's original opinion is shaken, and the two begin living together, gradually questioning whether Lucy's feelings are just a program.
The young man and Lucy
Lucy is not an ordinary machine used as a tool, but rather at the heart of the story's discussion of emotions and personality issues. The boy must face both his preconceived notions about robots and respond to Lucy's emotions and desires. Their relationship gradually changes through daily communication; Other characters and society's attitudes toward robots provide a broader background. The work focuses on the cognitive changes brought about by interaction, rather than the technical display of mechanical settings themselves.
Choices and ethical issues
The game adopts a visual novel format, where players take on the role of a teenager making choices in key situations, facing moral dilemmas related to consciousness, responsibility, and emotion. The narrative is mainly based on reading and selection; The sci-fi setting is used to present character relationships and discuss "what makes a person human."
