Memories in the café
The narrator conversed with the audience at a café near the university and the station. His experiences exploring an abandoned hospital in elementary school, searching for a shrine on the other side of a station in middle school, and investigating the ghost of children in high school have become the different stories he recounts. The audience kept asking questions, allowing memories to unfold.
Childhood friend Yohime
The person called the friend is the narrator's childhood friend, who has been passionate about the supernatural since childhood and often takes him to explore places in town. Hime is a relative of this friend, highly inspired, and returns to her friend's house every summer and New Year; The narrator first met her during the summer vacation of sixth grade.
Senior Nezu Youozumi
Senior Nezu is one year ahead of the narrator and his friends. He dated friends in high school and also enjoyed supernatural investigations, often bringing the narrator along. Uozumi is the audience member who appears as "you" in the narrative, and his identity is not further revealed on the person page.
Supporting short stories
The official website also publishes eleven web novels, including "Kakurenbo," "Fireworks," "Graduation Album," "Red Umbrella," and two stories told by Uozumi. The author explains that these events differ from the game, were distributed in fan events, and complemented the main story. In May 2020, four more were added.
