Exclusive cooperation window
In a 2013 interview-style promotional column commemorating the conclusion of the Gray series, Fujisaki explained that his "exclusive" collaboration with Frontwing did not equate to becoming an employee of the company, and at that time, he was still signing an exclusive contract as a freelancer; Those who need to commission work should first contact them through Frontwing.
Physical props as shown in the original artwork notes
In the same column, Fujisaki used the watch "Gray Fruit" as an example to illustrate that original artwork orders can include physical evidence. Yuji and Masako's watches were specified during the character design commission, with Masako's watch inspired by an item he owned; The conversation also explained the character and background connections considered when selecting these props.
Mazi's design coordination
Fujisaki recalled that Asako's design was revised about three to four times. The physique required by the writer and the company's desired product image did not fully align with Akio Watanabe's design philosophy; requirements for ponytail, muscle, and height had to be repeatedly coordinated.
