An inn in the snowy mountains
The story takes place in October 2011. Travelers and staff originally planned to rely on the inn's supplies to await rescue, but the wind and snow dragged on, and the food suddenly disappeared. The need for survival and mutual suspicion become the main conflicts in a closed environment.
Main characters
Duan Xianchong and Jiang Chengxue are lovers. Gui Haifeng started working a few days earlier than the other two and was childhood playmates with Duan Xianchong. In the inn, there are also the analytical Bai Youyou, the silent Ji Chouran, and Luan Yuan, who is vacationing with her husband Uncle Tongshan.
Original and EX versions
The original product was released in May 2010, used the KRKR engine, and featured three endings. The 2012 Extended edition made adjustments to the previous part, redrawing all character art and CG, and was released together with 'Snow Boundary ~Boundary Chapter~'. The original ending number and the three routes promoted in the Resolution Chapter are different in terms of information.
Upcoming chapters
"Snow Origins ~Resolution Arc~" continues from the previous part, revealing the truth behind the snow mountain incident. The 2022 release "Snow Original Realm S" presents the story in two parts: the Creation Arc and the Boundary Resolution Arc. The official recommendation is to read the Creation Arc first. The release dates and content scales of the original, EX, and S versions differ.
Places and legends
The Snow Inn is where everyone is trapped; The "Snowy Origin" is the origin of the legend of snow in the story. The survival crisis in the inn gradually intertwines with the mysteries surrounding the Domain Lord and the snowy girl, becoming questions to be answered in the following chapters.
Panic and investigation amid the food crisis
The first part pushed the survival dilemma to the brink of cannibalism. Duan Xianchong is lured to approach human flesh, and only after discovering the truth does he scream in terror and faint. During the investigation, Gui Haifeng repeatedly reminds him to think dynamically, and her murder further deepens the threat of the inn; Questions about the characters' experiences and behind-the-scenes arrangements will continue to be resolved in the chapter on realm resolution.
Confidence and the ending of Part Three of the previous part
This story leads to the real ending "Snow of the True Realm," the illusory ending "Snow Burial" by accumulating Duan Xianchong's confidence points, and the failed ending "Stubbornness." "Snow in the Mirror" is a main storyline, while "Snow Burial" leans toward pure romance; if it persists in the latter part, it may end in failure. After clearing 'Snow in Our Land,' the appreciation mode unlocks 'Inner Prompt: Snow Inn' and a production testimonial.
