The plot of "Pure Rouge."
In episode 2 of "Pure Rouge," Ikki gives Eriko a paper airplane folded from a zero-score answer sheet. She kissed Ikki under the pretense of an "experiment," then left.
At the swimming tournament in episode 9 of "Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge," Eriko stopped Asunatsu, who had not yet recovered from a leg cramp, from participating in the final relay, believing the race result was already decided. Asuna replied, 'You can't know the result without trying.'
In episode 18 of "Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge," Asuka arranged for Eriko to reunite with Ikki. Eriko then explained to Ikki the reason for starting the "experiment."
