Planning and Characters

The original project was developed through magazine serialization, reader voting, and fashion design solicitations. Each character has a regional background and reasons for participating: Minato Oba is the girl-next-door from the protagonist's childhood; Umeda Shinba once separated from him due to transferring schools; Akita Komachi comes from a family arranging a marriage. Other candidates have different connections with the protagonist and different motivations for participating in the competition.

White and colored routes

The white route revolves around the romantic development of the candidates; Once the conditions are met, you can enter the color route of different themes. The yellow route begins with Hama Momowa Ebino submitting a plan for an idol group, with candidates preparing for the concert. The red route revolves around the legendary 'Crimson Rosary,' which is said to grant wishes. After Uruma Nago enters the underground ruins alone, everyone sets out to find her.

Other branches

The Black route centers on disappearances in the island mansion; The pink route tells the story of candidates searching for causes after their behavior becomes abnormal. The silver route centers on the usually busy twin maids, Miku and Miu, with the protagonist offering to help them. Different colors correspond to different story themes, so the number of endings cannot be estimated solely by the number of candidates.

Theme song

The opening theme "PRISM CELEBRATION" is performed by Miyuki Hashimoto, with lyrics by Saori Kodama, and composed and arranged by Akihiko Yamaguchi. The title track was released by Lantis on April 7, 2010, under the catalog number LACM-4702. Another track included is "Sweep away!", both with instrumental versions.

Versions and Bonus Items

The original PSP comes in standard and limited editions, with a CERO rating of B. The limited edition included a special CD from the radio program "Sweet Happy☆Wedding" and a voice clock for twelve characters. On March 22, 2012, Dengeki SP reissue was released. Early promotions listed a pre-release date of April 1, with official product records and catalogs both stating April 28, 2010.
