Developments related to Narcissus 2
GotoP is credited as the SIDE 2nd character illustration in 'Narcissus 2'.
Seasonal themes and background corrections
When GotoP drew "Summer Premonition," he shifted the illustrations from May to a summer vacation theme, focusing on depicting backgrounds with a sense of realism. In a Q&A on July 30, 2013, he was still retouching the image for the print.
Changes in the light source during fireworks revisions
According to the 2015 Shine Festival production records, GotoP extensively reworked and returned the previous year's Yukata Girl illustration from 'E☆2' during the busy summer. The newly added evening fireworks changed the overall lighting source, and the yukata patterns, character shadows, and background details were redrawn.
Clothing and props inspired by 'Sketches of Autumn Colors.'
When GotoP was drawing "Autumn Color Sketch," he wanted to convey the warmth of an autumn evening. He tried changing various costumes, but the composition still couldn't stabilize, so he had the figure hold sketching tools; It also focuses on the subtle expressions of the characters when bathed in the sunset.
Layout and modification of flower shop paintings
When drawing "The Flower Shop Girl," GotoP chose a florist scene to practice painting flowers, which he was not originally good at, allowing many flowers to naturally appear on the canvas. He arranged the positions of the patterns in each place to avoid the chaotic appearance of red, blue, and yellow from a distance, and also considered the actual lighting for hanging the prints. A record from August 2014 by the project team further states that he modified the characters' expressions, backgrounds, and details of the original E☆2 illustrations for the print.
