"Dear world -Re.-" is a visual novel produced by non color, set more than ten years after "Dear world -the one-." Yuuki Kagamori and his friends invite a stranger girl to join the game, and their new encounters gradually connect to events their parents once experienced.

A new companion in the park
After school, Yuuki and his friends are playing in the park. When one person is missing for a horseback battle, he invites Lily, a girl sitting on a bench, to join him. The original four-person small group thus gained a new companion. The story begins with games, arguments, and reconciliations familiar to elementary school students, making this chance encounter the starting point for the boy to get to know others and family.
Children's lives and stories from the parents' generation
The first half sequentially describes the difficulties the companions face, with Yuuki always the main focus. His father, Kazuya Minamori, is the protagonist of the previous work; As the narrative shifts toward Kazuya, past battles, the state of the world, and family relationships take center stage. The everyday life seen in children's eyes and the price paid by the previous generation thus become two sides of the same story.
A method of reading consecutive chapters
This work does not have a branch for choosing a romantic partner; instead, the story progresses through consecutive chapters. Chapter titles are Rebellion, Recollection, Resonate, Rebound, Restart, Reborn, Recently, arranged around recollection, restart, and continuity. The characters and settings of the previous game take up a large portion in the latter half, so reading "-the one-" first makes it easier to understand their actions.
Production and distribution
The work was released on February 8, 2009, alongside the doujin event SC42, and had previously been offered in COMITIA84 2008 for a demo. Hato was responsible for the script, SHI-NO and Sadayuki Shichijo and his brother-in-law participated in the key animation, using the Kiri-Giri engine. The 'Re.' in the title refers to the continuation of the previous work's story, not a remake of the original.
More than ten years later
The story unfolds with children more than ten years after the previous game ended. After school, a stranger girl sits on a bench watching their game. Her companion, due to insufficient participants, invites her to join the horseback riding game.
The personality of the partner
Yuuki Minamori is introverted and gentle, accustomed to mediating among his peers; Kouta Kawakubo calls himself a leader and acts straightforwardly. Class Chair Kimitaka Nakamura excels in theory and has a good relationship with Kouta; Hisayo Kobayashi is passionate about sports. Her full name is Lily C. Kingsbury.
Previous work characters and distribution
Yuu Okawa reappears several years after the previous work. The developers listed the trial version on May 5, 2008, and the complete SC42 version on February 8, 2009; Thirty to sixty minutes is the reading volume for the demo.
