Production and performance

Makoto Ishiwatari was credited as a mechanical designer in 'The Lost Christmas of the Sin Crown.'

Physical observation and mechanical scale

Ishiwatari recalls his childhood exposure to Yokosuka ships and the machinery of "Macross," paying special attention to the sense of weight in massive machines. Hands-on contact with ships gave him a taste of material thickness; In the scenes, he arranges objects to help the audience understand the mechanical scale.

Limited edition and design collaboration with the anime

The 2018 ANUBIS limited edition featured a Sphinx motif and incorporated influences from Brave Redin. Additionally, in the "BLASSREITER" animation, he designed the missile based on the X-9 Ghost, and Ichiro Itano envisioned the missile's motion based on it.
