CD-Manatsu is a magical girl voice novel produced by Hamster Ogura, succeeding CD-Lime. On the eve of entering middle school, the protagonist meets Manatsu and accompanies her in searching for something important.

After CD-Lime
After Lime leaves home, the protagonist still lives with her family but is burdened with worries. The day before the middle school entrance ceremony, magical girl Manatsu came to him from outside the window and requested to find the item.
Midsummer and Kiri
The protagonist's name is Kiri, who becomes the adopted son of the Jin family. Headless Manatsu communicates with him through a laptop and computer, searching for the head stored on the CD. After the previous work's White Girl dies, she is resurrected, but her consciousness has become a different personality from her original head.
The familiar and the family
Kiri's familiar, Ogura, is a hamster, and Manatsu's familiar, Kamaboko, is a king crab. Lime's departure from home deeply hurts his parents, and Kiri tries to comfort them; After he was adopted, his original cousin Lime became his stepsister.
After reclaiming the head
Headless Manatsu decides to continue living under the name 'Natsu' instead of restoring her original personality that would make her disappear. She lost her body protecting Kiri; Lime then intervenes, and the man accompanying her stores the body on the CD. At the end, Kiri receives a CD containing Natsu's body and a message searching for a way to resurrect.
Reading structure
This story doesn't choose branches, focusing instead on their interactions and the progression of the latter half of the story. The visuals and music follow the format of "CD-Lime," and those familiar with the characters from the previous part can understand the family situation of Lime without the latter part.
Series and public releases
The 2008 playthrough record has been discussed in full CD-Manatsu, and I'm looking forward to the next installment. CD-Lime, Manatsu, and later series content were released in separate parts; having no branches does not mean the entire series ends here.
