Two observers
Medical student Sayo is cheerful but hides a lonely side. She lives with her mother and takes on the responsibility of caring for the family. Xuanyun had just graduated from graduate school and, arranged by his mother, started working at the Disease Research Center; Dr. Ling Yue was also engaged in research. The two protagonists bring the story into student life and research institutions respectively.
Relationship networks
Sayo's friend Kiriko often takes her out, and beneath her lively exterior, there are secrets. Xuanyun dated Akiha, whom he met in high school, while his friend Suna secretly liked him and was not good at expressing himself. Saya's younger sister, Nai, tries to help her sister get closer to Xuanyun. These existing relationships, together with the questions left by the previous game, drive this chapter.
