Five years later, when they met again, she was still cheerful and skillfully crafted. She originally belonged to the robotics department, but later also took charge of the Soaring department, helping with the actual construction of the glider.

After the Soaring Department's garage was destroyed, Yangyu worked tirelessly to protect the newly established activity venue. She used her connections to negotiate with various clubs at the academy, requesting their assistance with the Soaring Club.
During the flight, Yangyu gave up the seat of the two-seat glider to Koto and stayed on the support side the whole time, never flying the plane.
