Script work

Wang Quesun wrote new storylines for the 2014 home console series "We Have No Wings." This version added Misaki Hayashida as a romanceable character and added her route.

Combine these three directions into one work

In a 2014 interview, Wang Quesun recalled that the original PC project listed classic romantic comedies, the lyrical romance of the lonely, and street youth dramas, then expanded them and wanted to keep them all. To incorporate different atmospheres into one work while avoiding the usual form of a short story collection, he conceived the current structure of the work. When writing about his young aspirations, he also recorded children's expressions from his nephews of the same age to adapt to the limited vocabulary of the characters.

Sentence arrangement and family dialogue simulation

Wang Quesun prefers writing with more information but hopes the text will enter the mind at a glance, so he keeps modifiers as close to the target as possible and adjusts rhythm through particles. To give exaggerated characters a basis for action, he often simulates conversations at home with family, finding the tone and background of everyday life, then bringing those reasons back into the character.

Script production for 'Home Has a Girlfriend.'

When Wang Shuosun participated in the script for the "Home with a Girlfriend" animation, Takahashi Tatsuya first finalized the entire series' composition. After he and Wataru decided on episode assignments, they wrote the first draft, which was then discussed in a full script meeting.

Wang Quesun first studied which scenes Takahashi retained or deleted in "Home Has a Girlfriend" to establish standards for continuing the script. Faced with the original's long natural dialogue, he then reduced the word count according to the scene and animation duration.

Misaki adds writing choices for the route

When Wangjaku Sun discussed the 2014 PS3/PS Vita "We Have No Wings," Misaki said that besides romance, Misaki added elements that the original PC version hadn't fully addressed as much as possible. He also prepared what he considered convincing settings for Takashi to move toward Misaki instead of Asuka.

Dedicated writing after being recommended by Ago Barrier

Wang Quesun recalled that when he first joined the game company, he was assigned to the sales department due to lack of professional writing experience. Senior Ago Barrier recommended him early on as the official screenwriter, leading him to focus exclusively on scriptwriting; In a 2014 interview, Wang Quesun still expressed his gratitude for the assistance.

Words and music by different narrators

When Wang Quesun writes "We Have No Wings," he adjusts his tone according to the narrator. The same location presents different faces depending on the characters' subjective perspectives, and the music is arranged according to the tone of each chapter: the Eagle Ambition arc leans toward piano and string acoustics, the Washisuke arc uses jazz-flavored lounge music, and the Hayato arc leans toward rock and electronic dance music.

The creative direction of the Washisuke and Hayato arc

To distinguish it from the other two chapters, Wang Que Sun writes more typical romantic comedy dialogues in the Eagle Guardian arc. The Hayato arc starts from a different sense of cultural unfamiliarity: since most people can encounter Akihabara culture through his works, he also wants readers familiar with this culture to experience nighttime street life, then turn the findings into comedic twists.

The initial commercial script

In a 2014 interview, Wang Quesun referred to the parallel additional script of "21 TwoOne" as the original commercial work he undertook to write.

Before joining a gaming company

Wang Quesun developed a passion for writing novels during his student years, and after graduating from university, he first worked at a small publishing house. Hoping to make a living through writing, he later entered the industry through acquaintances who founded a game company.
