"Stormy Record 3" centers on the research and travel of rookie journalist Chihiro Sakaki in Hokkaido. The PC version was released on May 31, 2013, and on February 19, 2015, a PS Vita version was released with winter arc and other content.

The rookie reporter's surroundings
Influenced by her sister, Chihiro got into motorcycles and later applied to be a travel journalist at a publishing house. Editor Shibukawa gave him the chance to participate in the newcomer competition "Ruiming Exhibition"; He set off from Oarai by boat, hoping to find memorable scenery in Hokkaido and capture the photos he was after.
Meeting in Hokkaido
Nagisa Aizawa rides a large-displacement motorcycle, traveling from the southernmost tip of Hokkaido to the northernmost tip; Shuike Xiaoye searches for the origin of the melody with photos and a music box; Fumura Izumi is familiar with hot springs, but unfamiliar with modern life knowledge. As Chihiro travels with her or helps search for clues, she gradually learns about the experiences of the three of them.

The PC version expands the coverage area to cover all of Hokkaido, including 112 locations. Choose your direction at the intersection while moving, explore and take photos after entering the attraction, and send photos every night. In the Vita system description, one report selects two photos; Exhaustion forces you to end your activities for the day and affect your stamina for the next day, so long-distance travel and local gathering must be arranged together.
Vita additions and production
The Vita version adds winter Hokkaido, Akari Yukishiro, and new short stories and journey encounters. Yukiyo drives to scenic spots for sketching, and the winter edition also changes travel habits due to the snow. The PC version was planned and supervised by Takeya Shiina, character design by Aya Izumi, script by Hiraga Tonnai and Kirinan, music credited by Saga Fengsui and Kenya Shiina.
Audio materials
The Vita pre-order music anthology includes 12 tracks, six of which are new works by Kenya Shiina, and the other six are from the Feng Shui Saga series. It is a different release from the later five-disc soundtrack covering five works.
Vitamin version: Three directional prompts
In travel mode, the panel at the top of the screen selects the direction to go, with yellow arrows indicating side view points for views along the way. After entering the attraction, the blue arrow indicates the direction you can go, and the green arrow points to the spot you just left; The map will also preserve the paths you've already taken.
Vita version: Revisits and map improvements
Some attractions may change their coverage areas on your next visit. The Vita port also supports touch controls on the map, adds attractions, and adjusts the exploration range of existing sites; The responses received after submission serve as indicators for competition evaluation.
