The process of illustration and additional expressive elements
In a 2020 interview, Nagimiso described that CLIP STUDIO PAINT progressed from rough drafts, drafts, and finishes to color separation and shadowing, minimizing the number of layers added. He believes illustrations also need to add expressive elements, such as special shadows or effects that match the characteristics of card monsters.
Adjust the comic lines according to editorial feedback
When discussing "Touring Girl," he said the editor had pointed out that the character lines were too stiff. After switching to digital screens, he can take more initiative in controlling the lines, consciously making character lines softer in his new works.
Planning proposals and field research
Nagimiso recalled that Takeshobo once asked if he could continue with his published manga. Nagimiso also submitted a series themed around motorcycle travel, 'Touring Girl!' Proposal; The editor favored this proposal more, and the work began serialization.
Painting: 'Tulin Girl!' This gradually shifted Nagimiso from a preset mental unfolding to expressing the atmosphere she felt locally.
